MILEAGE: Approximately 200 mi/310 km.
Thunder Bay to Sault Ste. Marie:
ROUTE: Trans-Canada 17, cross the International Bridge into the U.S.
MILEAGE: Approximately 380 mi/615 km.
Sault Ste. Marie to Ironwood:
MILEAGE: Approximately 310 mi/500 km.
SPUR ROUTE: At Marquette, US-41 and M-26 follow the Keweenaw Peninsula.
Ironwood to Duluth:
MILEAGE: Approximately 110 mi/170 km.
DETOUR: At Ashland, WI-13 follows Bayfield Peninsula.
